A compilation is the most basic level of financial statement service. We take your financial information and present it in the form of formal statements without auditing or reviewing the details. Because no opinion is expressed on the accuracy, compilations are typically used for internal decision-making. They’re a simple way to organize your data without the cost of deeper analysis.

Reviews

A review provides a more in depth look than a compilation but less extensive than an audit. We make inquiries of your company personnel as to the validity of the numbers presented, but we do not test individual transactions. Reviews are often requested when outside financing is required or the owners are not present in every day business.

Audits

An audit is the most comprehensive level of financial statement service and requires a higher level of assurance. The auditor will issue an opinion on the compliance of the financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Audits are often required by banks whom may have made loans to an organization, or governmental authorities in connection with their purpose.
